Eagles Canyon Raceway is located at 7629 FM 51, Decatur, TX 76234. The facility gates are open from 6a to 6p.
We are located at BUILDING #4, Platinum Garage #6, as pictured. The Google Maps coordinates are: 33°21'59.4"N 97°25'35.6"W
Check in 1st thing when you arrive. You and any guests must sign the track waiver while on track property, including the paddock areas.
Most riders will find it best to stage near the SportRiderCoaching Garage #6. The garage is on the left as you come up the hill after entering track property on the paddock level one below the main clubhouse. There's a nice concrete pad suitable for staging pictured. We stage as many as 12 motorcycles here; please be considerate of others using the space.
Typical coaching day schedule:

06:00a Arrive at track 07:00a
07:00a Rider's Meeting 08:00a
07:30a 1st on-track session 08:30a
... sessions roughly every hour

You and your coach will have time to meet and discuss goals and skills development for the day before the first session.
Please be considerate of other riders and arrive on-time. Arriving late will result in the loss of track time.
You should have 1- or 2-pc leathers (track approved textile suits OK for novice riders), full face helmet, motorcycle specific gloves & boots. Earplugs are highly recommended.
Your bike should be mechanically sound and in good operating condition. Spikes, sharp edges, or other impalement hazards should be removed.
Tires should be in good condition with half-tread or better. Inspect fluid retaining bolts (oil, coolant) for proper fitting. No other special preparation is required.
Please don't tape your brake light if it is functional. This is a very useful coaching tool.
Parking is always tight, especially on weekends, and we ask you be understanding of the challenge.
In general, do not park trucks and trailers on paved areas -- tow vehicles and trailers need to be in the gravel. Avoid red zone marked areas or blocking the gravel service roads except for load & unload.
If you have a multi-axle trailer or large RV, plan on parking it at the lower paddock near the facility entry. Do not pull multi-axle trailers to the level near the clubhouse. Please pull in head first, and don't block a large portion of the paddock by parking horizontally, leaving space for others.
Dry camping is available, but please advise if you plan to do so, especially if you plan to arrive after normal business hours. Access to toilets and showers after business hours is limited.
On-property lodging is available at the Eagles Canyon Retreat. Contact info@eaglescanyon.com for information and booking.
La Quinta in Decatur offers an Eagles Canyon rate: La Quinta ECR Rate
Eagles Canyon sells regular 93 Octane and Race Fuels at a credit card pump.
If you require power please bring a generator.
If you do not have a generator, you may rent a Honda 2000 or Yamaha 2000 from us for $40. Each unit is suitable to power one set of warmers and accessories such as a laptop and fan.
We recommend against the extra hassle for all but expert riders. Learning to manage tire pressures and grip is an important skill.
ECR's restaurant "Over The Top" is available for lunch -- or bring your own.
Be sure to bring plenty of drinks and start drinking water before your day. Snacks to eat throughout the day are a good idea, and we recommend a couple of salty snacks to help make up for the mineral losses from drinking so much water. One cannot overstate the importance of saying cool and clear-headed.
We cannot recommend enough you eliminate distractions from your day, especially animals and even others likely to create demands for your time. These will interrupt your track or classroom time, and make your day less enjoyable and productive.
During the day, we will take video of most sessions as an aid to learning riding skills. If you would like to keep this video we will sell the 64gb card to you for $20.
Tire support is available for Pirelli track day and race tires. Mount and balance is included on loose wheels when purchasing new tires. We recommend all tire activity happen in the evening at Track Cold. During the day, there may be a delay before we can get to your tire swap.
Tire changes for wheels on the bike must be scheduled.
SportRiderCoaching fits and services what we sell. We do not change outside tires.
There’s no official weather policy; We don't ride in poor or not-fun conditions, and will credit you another day if we cancel. If a day of the weekend looks questionable, please keep an eye on your email. We try to give as much notice as possible, but North Texas forecasts are so inaccurate the morning of is usually when we make the call.
Candid advice: looking at the weather forecast during the week for a Saturday event is a waste of your time. Experience suggests looking at the weather forecast Friday night for a Saturday event is probably also a waste of time.
We strongly recommend you cancel your day with us using the online system if you are unable to make it. Cancelations received 7-days out will be given a full value credit good for one year usable towards any future event. Cancelations received within the 7-day event window will be credited $100 immediately, and given a full value credit if a waitlist rider takes your spot.
At Track Payments: We accept cash, PayPal and major credit cards.
